The Special Needs Ministry accepts, instructs, and includes individuals with special needs in mainstream worship services and Community Groups or with a one on one helper in an age appropriate class. Each child is served based on their individual needs by a qualified teacher along with several volunteer helpers. Students will be evaluated and appropriately placed, so they can learn while feeling loved and accepted.
To volunteer, all you need is love for special need people. The ministry was the result of one mom who wanted her child to be included in the mainstream children’s programs. Our volunteers are regular people just like you who are qualified to shower love on special people and their families.
The Special Needs Ministry meets in room 117 of our preschool area (despite the location, the class is open to all ages).
